CRWP is working with local and regional partners to develop and update local watershed plans in Cuyahoga and Lorain counties. CRWP is working with Lorain County Soil and Water Conservation District, Lorain County Stormwater Management District, the Black River Area of Concern, and other partners to update three watershed plans in the Black River watershed. CRWP is also working with Doan Brook Watershed Partnership, Bluestone Conservation, and other partners to update the watershed plan for the Doan Brook-Frontal Lake Erie watershed, which includes multiple direct Lake Erie tributaries on Cleveland’s east side, such as Doan Brook, Giddings Brook, Dugway Brook, Shaw Brook, Nine Mile Creek, and Green Creek. The purpose of these watershed plans is to identify water quality challenges and opportunities and identify proposed projects to help improve and maintain the health of these waterways.
If you live in one of these watersheds, we want to hear from you! Please complete an online survey to share information about local water issues or consider attending one of our public input meetings (Black River watershed only).
