CRWP Chosen as Recipient of Cleveland Cavaliers and Cleveland Monsters Assists for a Cause Program for the 2025-26 Season

Chagrin River Watershed Partners has been selected as the recipient of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Cleveland Monsters Assists for a Cause initiative for the 2025-2026 season. This charitable program is made possible with Tito's Handmade Vodka, which continues its tradition of philanthropy by giving back to communities through local causes, efforts, and support of nonprofit organizations.
For every assist made by the Cavs and Monsters this season, Tito’s will donate $10 to Chagrin River Watershed Partners to help protect local wildlife, restore streams and wetlands, and build vibrant communities. The program, based on players helping their teammates in their scoring efforts on the court or rink, will help increase the preservation and enhancement of the Chagrin River, our great Lake Erie, and other Ohio watersheds.
“We’re excited to team up with the Cavs, Monsters and Tito’s Handmade Vodka to unite around what makes Northeast Ohio exceptional — its people, passion, and environment! Support like this is vital to our ability to protect, preserve, and enhance Ohio’s waterways and build vibrant, healthy communities where people and nature connect,” said Heather Elmer, Executive Director at Chagrin River Watershed Partners.
Throughout the past 8 seasons, Tito’s has graciously donated over $175,000 to local Cleveland nonprofit organizations through this Assist for a Cause program alongside these two teams. Chagrin River Watershed Partners is thrilled to be the recipient of this program. As we move into 2026, we will celebrate our 30th anniversary — a milestone made possible by programs like this that help us work each day toward a sustainable future for all people, plants, and animals.
